What Size Ssd For Windows 10
My 1TB hdd containing current Windows up to date is getting a bit iffy clicking etc and doesn't start easily. So I was thinking of getting an ssd to. So you'd need about 40GB minimum SSD size for basic and convenient/fast Win 10 use, and use HDD for everything else. I'm using a 275GB Crucial. Like you, I really only wanted to put Windows on it, but 275GB is kind of the 'value' size/pricepoint right now, whether 2.5' or M.2. I have a Win 10 'NUC' and it comes with a 120GB SSD. A 16 GB SSD is severely limited. Windows 10 uses about 10 GBs of space, not to mention, you have to think about updates, apps, app updates. You could augment it with an SD card if your computer supports it, but its a lot to manage.
